AODB The AODB, Airport and Obstacle Database, has been established and is maintained by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in co-operation with its member airlines. The AODB, Airport and Obstacle Database (AODB) is designed to catalog and maintain a database, in a single, low cost source, of airport and obstacle data for takeoff and landing performance analysis for over 2600 worldwide airports. The AODB is a single resource for airlines, charter operators, flight training centers, simulator operators and students, service bureau’s, corporate operators, etc. Dependable internet and dial-up connectivity are most often the easiest and fastest access to the AODB information. In addition to the current sources widely used by airlines for airport data, the AODB serves as a clearing house for hard to obtain information. The AODB enables members to share airport and obstacle data that is not readily available from public sources. This data is valuable to AODB members. the AODB, therefore, avoids the need for on-site surveys. This website is a direct convenience link to the AODB, Airport and Obstacle Database website.
